Arlene is a writer of novels, short stories, and poetry. Her writing includes three adventure/fantasy young reader novels entitled, “Magassus Mountain”, “Jule's Story”, and “Sedna, The Tenth Planet”. She has also written a book of poetry, “Poems in the Key of Life”.
On May 1, 2019, Arlene's first novel geared toward adults “The Crescent” was published by Pine Lake Books. In 2003, her entry ”The Sound of Loneliness“ won first prize in the Canoe FM radio short story contest. Several of her short stories have appeared in The Haliburton County Echo's Christmas supplement. Arlene lives in the Haliburton Highlands, Ontario.
